Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the young age of fourteen. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling and BJJ before making her debut as an amateur at the age of 18 at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to beat three times consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were finished within the first five minutes. Then she returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia dominated Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous decision, putting an ominous mark on her records as an amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record up to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut as a pro. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by the first round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She won the next match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock out McGill via TKO in the third-round (elbows and punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her off in the second round by KO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks was a unanimous winner. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the 2nd. She remained dominant, and won another big win over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd beat Evinger within the first few seconds and received a bonus for the performance of the evening. The first big fight she fought in was during her subsequent fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's win was a majority decision as well as she was awarded the Fight of the Night award came to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her losing streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. In a match that was a replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was a unanimous decision.
