She was born in Santa Monica California, the United States of America on November 26, 1986. Her father Vincenzo Barba is her mother Valerie Barba. The family moved from Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was 6 years old. Red Bank Catholic High School is where she received her education formal in New Jersey. After that, she went to Catholic University, where she earned a bachelor's diploma in architecture. From the age of 4 She began playing the violin, earning her the name Violin Girl. The name she was given by her first name because of her appearances. She also taught children from within the community on how to play the violin. In the six season of American Idol, she sang Free in the year 1976, when she was nineteen. However she was eliminated after finishing 16th in the competition. The singer has also performed songs, including "The Christmas Song" (2009) and Out for Blood (2010). Additionally she has been on a few TV shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Antonella Barba rose to stardom when she sang in America on the show's 6th season American Idol. She also began acting on TV after she was eliminated from the show after she made it to the top 16. The actress has appeared in small role in a few films and appeared on Fear Factor in season of 2012. According to Daily Mail reports on November 21st of 2019, she was sentenced to nearly four years of prison time for collaborating to spread fentanyl. In July of 2018 the artist pleaded guilty of being in possession of 400 grams or more of fentanyl and intending to sell the drug.
